Town Budget for 2025 – The Board voted to override the NYS tax cap on September 25th . Fire Protection District Budgets Public Hearings will be held October 9th . There will be a Public Hearing on the Preliminary Budget November 6th .

A public hearing was held August 14th and held open to August 28th regarding a proposed local law to permit Accessory Dwelling Units (ADU) in neighborhoods zoned Residential. There were a number of comments from residents and advocates. CNY Fair Housing brought a film crew to help with a documentary they are making about zoning. The Board voted to approve the ADU local law.

There was a large turnout for a Public Hearing 6/26 about purchasing 7.779 acres of land on Burdick Street and accepting a donation of 61.86 acres along Limestone Creek. A wide variety of comments were presented about the need for a new building, environmental issues with the proposed site, the terms of the purchase contract and the impact of such an expensive project on property taxes. Vote was tabled until July 24th.
