Fire/EMS Committee
Councilor Mike Nesci brings his considerable expertise to lead a discussion with our Fire Protection partners, assisted by the Town Attorney. This is a six-month process. Many thanks to the representatives from Fayetteville, Kirkville, Manlius and Minoa who serve on this committee.
Town Facility Study Group
Councilor Katelyn Kriesel is leading a process with twelve volunteers who represent all parts of the Town geographically. Thanks to the Town of Manlius Police Department for giving us a thorough tour in July. The Study Group identified the following priorities at their July meeting: Cost-effective, Legal Compliance, ADA Accessibility, Adaptable Spaces .and Safety/Security.

Muirfield Retention Basin
Problems at the Muirfield Retention Basin were identified in 2013 and finally resolved this summer thanks to the efforts of Highway Superintendent Rob Cushing and the perseverance of Councilor (now Supervisor) Sara Bollinger. Our thanks to LaBella Engineering for design and oversight and to IDH, Inc. for completing the work promptly and with minimal disruption to neighbors.
Skyridge Water Supply District
This project is complete except for tree planting, scheduled for fall. The Highway Department spread grass seed and paved the roads. A resident update about finances was held July 28th. Many thanks to Assembly Member Al Stirpe for providing a grant of $2 million to make this project possible.
