A new councilor was appointed May 27 to fill the vacancy on the Manlius Town Board.
Brett Edkins was selected to the vacant seat, which was left by Sara Bollinger once she took over as supervisor following her predecessor John Deer’s resignation earlier this year.
Edkins’ term became effective the night of his appointment and will last through Dec. 31 of this year.
